3D Digital X-Rays

3D digital X-rays, also known as Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), provide a more detailed and comprehensive view of your oral health compared to traditional 2D X-rays. This advanced technology is used to:

  • Diagnose complex dental problems: CBCT can help identify issues like impacted wisdom teeth, cysts, tumors, and jaw fractures that might be difficult to see with 2D X-rays.
  • Plan dental procedures: Before surgeries like dental implants or root canals, CBCT can provide a precise 3D image of the bone and surrounding structures, allowing for more accurate planning and a higher chance of success.
  • Evaluate orthodontic cases: For patients considering braces or other orthodontic treatments, CBCT can help assess the position of teeth and jawbones in detail, ensuring a more effective treatment plan.
  • Monitor treatment progress: CBCT can be used to track the healing process after dental procedures or to monitor the effectiveness of orthodontic treatment.

To learn more about 3D digital X-rays and how they can benefit your oral health, contact our office. Our experienced dental team can discuss your specific needs and determine if CBCT is appropriate for you.

Intraoral Camera

Imagine having a clear, detailed view of the inside of your mouth. With intraoral cameras, that’s exactly what you get. These small, handheld devices capture high-quality images that help your dentist:

  • Spot problems early: By providing a magnified view of your teeth, gums, and soft tissues, intraoral cameras can identify potential issues like cavities, gum disease, and even oral cancer at their earliest stages.
  • Explain treatment plans: Seeing is believing. Visual aids like intraoral images can make it easier to understand your treatment options and why they’re recommended.
  • Track progress: Intraoral cameras can monitor the healing process after dental procedures or assess the effectiveness of orthodontic treatment.

SprintRay Midas

A second SprintRay printer handles tooth-colored work. The Midas prints our 3D-printed veneers from Midas Restore, a ceramic-filled resin that is FDA-cleared for permanent crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers.

Each capsule is a tooth shade, so the color is picked to match your smile before anything prints. The work happens right here in our Spring Hope office instead of at an outside lab.
