I came to North Carolina for dental school at UNC and never left. In 2024 I had the chance to take over a 40-year Spring Hope practice and bring it into the modern era. I trained in the Kois philosophy, which means we look for the root cause of a problem instead of just patching the symptom, and I invested heavily in technology, from 3D scanning to AI-assisted imaging, because better information means more comfortable, more predictable results. Why Spring Hope
In 2024 I had the chance to take over a practice that had looked after this town for more than 40 years. That history mattered to me. My goal was never to replace it, but to keep the small-town, know-your-name feel and add the technology and training most offices our size don't have. Today patients drive in from Nashville, Rocky Mount, Wilson, and all over Nash County, and I still get to know them by name.
Outside the office
I'm a runner, and I've finished two marathons, which taught me more about patience and preparation than anything else I've done. I travel every chance I get, and I'm always hunting down a new restaurant. My fiancée Maria and I live in Cary, where we love the community and the outdoors.
